Thanks to the kindness of a generous donor we were able to fund the rescue of a pregnant cow from slaughter, and in turn gift her to the villagers. From this selfless act, not only were we able to save two lives, but also support the livelihoods of the people who in turn would benefit from the milk provided. We were overjoyed to hear that on the 11th August 2018, a beautiful healthy calf was born, whom due to the wishes of the donor was fondly named ‘Bettie’.
